For animals in need, the love and support from animal centers and veterinarians can be a lifeline. Tragically, animals are frequently found in dire circumstances, but thankfully, heartfelt rescuers are there to help when disasters strike.
One such heartwarming story involves an abandoned and neglected pup, discovered locked in a small cage at the beginning of the new year. Professionals from the Stray Rescue of St. Louis organization in the USA responded immediately to the out-of-the-ordinary call.
The origin of the abandoned pooch remains unclear, but it was evident that she was in dire straits. Not only was she living in cramped quarters, but she was also suffering from a severe ear infection, a painful ailment for any dog.
The rescue team knew they had to act fast to give the pup some much-needed care and attention. They approached the cage, opened it, and took her into their arms with tender, loving care.
Without giving any thought to their own safety, these kind-hearted animal rescuers took charge and whisked the furry patient into their car. They rushed her directly to a veterinary clinic to receive the medical care she needed.
In a heartwarming post, Stray Rescue of St. Louis shared how grateful they were to the anonymous individuals for calling in need of help and waiting tirelessly for the medical team to arrive. They wrote, “Happy New Year to you all! It seems animals are still being ill-treated in 2022. Meet Bubbly – lonely and abandoned on the side of the road in her cage. A big thanks to the first people who cared before we came; they knew to call the right people to help.”
Stray Rescue of St. Louis are heroes, and they continue to offer the best kind of care for the animals they help. They wrote enthusiastically about giving Bubbly a chance to lead a happier life, sharing how she “spent the journey towards her freedom in our arms. Poor little lass’s ears were hugely and painfully inflamed, so we’ll give her the help she needs.”
Our hopes and dreams are with Bubbly. We hope she will soon find a family and home filled with love and care where her life will be spent twiddling her tail and wagging it happily, barking, and playing with her family.
