With the twinkling of Christmas lights, joyous decorations, and festive spirit everywhere you turn – nothing captures the true meaning of this special holiday like a stunning Nativity scene.

During the holiday season, it is almost inevitable to witness a representation of Jesus’ birth in a manger with animals and magi; whether that be a plastic nativity scene adorning your garden or small children reenacting the event at Sunday mass.

On occasion, people get particularly imaginative with their scenes… For example, one dog groomer created the most darling Nativity scene ever noticed on the web.
During Christmas 2017, Wags to Riches – a dog walking and grooming business in Leicestershire, England owned by Jo Kingston – went viral due to an incredibly hilarious photograph.

Inspired by the season, these talented groomers decided to create an all-puppy Nativity scene with their beloved pooches!
Costumes were easy to create; all that was required was wrapping the dogs with towels, transforming them into characters from a classic Nativity setting.

One of the most endearing elements of this scene is an adorable puppy, peeking out from the manger and playing Baby Jesus.
The internet was immediately drawn to the pic, making it an instant viral sensation with over one-thousand retweets!
Jo was stunned when she woke up and saw that someone had tagged her in a picture with the words: “Jo, you’ve gone viral!” The BBC reported on Jo’s reaction as she said, “I can’t believe how many people have messaged me! I never imagined this happening.”

Securing enough cooperation from children to create a Nativity scene can be no small feat, yet the dogs managed it with ease – as long as there was a treat in exchange!
The owners shared with The Dodo that their furry friends were all more than happy to take part in the photoshoot for a biscuit. This great success has become an annual Christmas tradition, as they now come together each year to create another nativity scene!

Not limited to Christmas, they have also begun hosting festivities for other occasions such as New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day and even the Royal Wedding.
