After Leaving Her Dog With Dad For The Day, Woman Receives These Hilarious Texts

Meghan Specksgoor from Midlothian, Virginia decided to take a trip to New York and have her father Larry babysit her furry “kid”, Chance the dog.

Larry had an amazing time playing with his German Shepherd “grandson” who is only four years old. Meghan’s dad kept her updated by sending plenty of adorable text messages.

In his first text, Larry wrote to his dad saying: “I’m starving and Grandpa wants to know what kind of take-out I can have.”

“It’s tough always bugging you, Mom, but we really need to spend more time with gramps,” Larry wrote in another text, featuring a happy Chance hanging out with his grandpa at the park.

Next, Chance and Grandpa sent this! “Hi Mom, it’s me again. We just had a picnic lunch and now we’re going to the nail salon.

Grandpa said I could have ice cream if I’m good. What’s my favorite flavor again? Larry even inserted an emoji! SO CUTE!

After enjoying a picnic dinner together, Larry took Chance to get his nails clipped. For dessert, they both enjoyed some pup-friendly ice cream.

After an enjoyable day together, Larry let Chance sleep with him in his bed. You can tell from the look on Chance’s face that he was VERY content.

Grandpa is treating his “grandson” like gold!

Larry’s last text was to his mom, asking if there was anything they needed to tell Gramps before he went to sleep. He said, “Hope you are having as much fun as I am 😍 see you tomorrow and good night, love you soooo much ❤️” His consideration for others is touching and we love him for it!

It’s great having a dad like Larry. Meghan knows her furry child, Chance, is always in good hands if she has to leave him behind.

Having a father (and grandfather) like Larry must be wonderful. Meghan knows that she can always leave Chance in good hands if she needs to go somewhere without him. Larry very much wants human grandchildren eventually, and I bet he will spoil them just as much as he loves spoiling Chance.
