Ron, a kitten, was found in a Colorado feral cat colony at the age of three months. His three siblings, Harry Hermione, Luna, and Hermione were rescued. He was terrified when he arrived at the Northfield Veterinary Hospital. But he soon became the hospital’s therapy cat.
After Ron was comfortable in his temporary home, Ron began to show a keen interest in learning about the other animals that came through the hospital. He was no longer afraid, and it was almost as if he wanted all of the other animals to know that they don’t need to be scared.
He may be small, but he has a huge heart for others.
Ron helps us keep our dental patients warm by doubling as a therapy pet.” “The dentist is on our technician’s schedule,” Jen said.
Ron behaved like an employee at the hospital, greeting all patients and making rounds.

Ron was a little miracle worker and everyone loved him. After three and a quarter months, Ron was ready to leave to go to live with his family. They, as it turned, needed Ron’s comfort as much as the patients.
Sandel stated that Ron lives with a family that has a young and an old dog. “The older dog can be a little cranky around other animals but she will snuggle with Ron.”
Ron was truly born to serve others and now he has a forever extended family that can bring joy into the lives of everyone he meets.
Sandel stated, “He is the most outgoing and fearless cat I’ve ever seen, and he’s still just a kitten.” We miss him greatly, but we are so happy that he found an amazing family to care for him.
