Dedicated Volunteers Devoted Countless Hours Of Their Time To Rescue 40 Distressed Canines From A Rural Community

Spaying and neutering our furry friends is always the number one priority of animal rescuers, as it gives them a better life while reducing the heartbreaking amount of unwanted puppies or kittens being abandoned every day. As an esteemed rescue organization in Romania, Howl Of A Dog remembers to take on larger issues beyond their daily missions.

Aside from rescuing animals themselves, they are dedicated to helping many canines all over the country through meaningful programs and campaigns.

For the past two weeks, our rescue organization has been on a mission to educate and support members of a small village with their canine companions. We provided useful information as well as complimentary sterilization, vaccinations, microchipping, flea treatment and deworming medication for every pup in need. In addition to that we also offered medical assistance for any dogs suffering from illnesses or injuries.

With their generous hearts, 40 pups were able to experience the love and care they needed; needless to say, those two couldn’t have been any more proud.

The volunteers were thrilled to witness the local community members take their furry friends in for medical attention and neutering or spaying.

Although these felt like small victories at first, they could not be more wrong: those initial steps are always the most difficult yet critical when it comes to effectuating change and altering existing mindsets.

The team had the extraordinary opportunity to hear the delightful stories of each pup living in that rural area, all of which were immensely lovable and distinctive. One particular canine who stole their hearts was Remy, a stray dog who warmly welcomed them every morning and monitored their work throughout each day.

The volunteers, of course, were thrilled with the end result. But it wasn’t only them who celebrated – the villagers rejoiced too! Even though they lacked money for expensive toys or kennels for their beloved dogs, that didn’t prevent them from providing unconditional love and affection to their furry friends.

“Some cases of neglect and abandonment are not the result of maliciousness but rather due to people who naturally have good intentions, or those facing a difficult predicament without adequate resources for medical care,” clarified the volunteers.
