Rigby is an exuberant and inquisitive pup who loves to observe his neighborhood from the comfort of his home. He’s a social creature, always eager for fun with friends!
In his home shared with family, Rigby eagerly awaits the opportunity to welcome any new faces that pass by every day – both human and animal.
Thankfully, Rigby can conveniently “pop out” to say hello. His adorably cute face easily fits through the inbuilt mailbox of his home!
Since he was a pup, Rigby has had an immense adoration for the mailbox. Its entrance directly leads to the hallway, and when he was younger, his entire perky body could fit inside!
As Courtney Poole, mother of Rigby, shared with The Dodo, “My husband and I would lovingly hand our son back and forth through the mailbox.”
Rigby, now a year old, is unfortunately too large to slip his entire body through the gap. Nevertheless, he stands at the perfect height so that only his head pokes out of the hole in delight and amusement!
Everyone in the neighborhood delights at witnessing his face peeking out of the mailbox and can’t help but pause to get a good chuckle.
Everyone gets excited about Rigby’s peephole, except for the poor mailman who got a huge surprise when he opened the mailbox and saw his furry friend staring back at him!
After all, it is expected that Rigby would be intimidated by the mailman due to the outdated notion of them not getting along. Thankfully though, now they have a harmonious relationship and can easily interact with one another peacefully.
Rigby’s kindness is bringing immense happiness to his community, and we hope that more mailboxes are filled with these delightful surprises!
