Recently, two Great Danes made headlines when they couldn’t contain their enthusiasm while watching their Dad prepare a Costco Chicken meal. Everyone could relate to that hunger-fueled anticipation!
Maddie the Great Dane pressed his face onto the kitchen table, eagerly anticipating for his dad to remove the succulent Costco Roast Chicken and set it on a carving board. On the other side of the same table sat Ellie, another huge canine from that same breed; she was growing increasingly impatient with each passing second!
Roasting Costco Chicken was the highlight of Maddie and Max’s day! The two canines were on their best behavior, hoping to get a slice. When their dad retrieved it from the microwave plate, Maddie couldn’t resist getting closer – her nose right near that delicious aroma!
Maddie’s lips curled into a smile as she was ready to partake in the delicious chicken, yet her father intervened. He cut off some pieces and put them on a plate, which Maddie naively thought were for her.
The sweet girl was left feeling disappointed that there wasn’t more of the scrumptious meal available for her.
The owner rapidly speared a morsel with his fork, then proffered it to Maddie. She eagerly devoured the succulent chicken before her father presented another piece to Ellie while Maddie skirted around the table in anticipation of one more portion.
Maddie was not disheartened by their gentle owner, who held up a piece of food for her to enjoy with delight. He even had the same courtesy for Ellie standing nearby, but despite both dogs’ hopeful looks at him, they were disappointed to find no extra treat coming their way.
