While on his shift as a London bus driver, Amos Paul Mak was baffled when he observed an anxious Staffordshire Bull Terrier perched in the back of the vehicle.
The canine drooped his head in despair, unmoving from his position. It seemed like all of the passengers had gone for the day and Amos figured that either someone had let go of their pet or intentionally left him on the bus.
Amos shared the strange news with his colleague Ricky Hatton, and since it was against regulations for bus drivers to bring home lost or abandoned dogs, they chose to utilize social media to seek out any information on the sad pup.
All night, the canine remained on the frigid bus as staff desperately wished someone would arrive to take their pet home.
Incredibly, Ricky and Amos eventually reached Paulina Rybak on social media – the owner of Lost Staffie! For a week now, poor Paulina had been unable to rest easy over her 4-year-old pup Boston who vanished during a walk.
The confused woman was taken aback upon seeing the bus pictures from Boston, prompting her to quickly get in touch with the depot workers to be reunited with her dear son.
After Paulina had notified her veterinarian and Newham Council that Boston had gone missing, it was simple for the authorities to confirm she was indeed his rightful owner.
While the source of Boston’s presence on the bus remained a mystery, Paulina was certain that his seemingly daring mission to get back home had been successful!
Boston is happily ensconced in his home once more, basking in the love and attention he receives from his human family. Zofia and Filip were both beside themselves with worry when he vanished.
Reunited at last, this trio’s bond is more powerful than ever before. What a story of fate and chance that had such a joyous ending!
