In an extraordinary event, a dog who had gone missing in Simpsonville, South Carolina returned to its owners’ doorstep and rang the doorbell!
Mary Lynn Whitacre and Ryan Washick, the owners of Rajah, their 18-month-old pup, report that she had run away from home after being startled by fireworks.
After an incredible ten-hour journey, the Labrador-Catahoula leopard dog mix eventually found her way back home and joyfully rang the doorbell using only her nose – all of which was captured on camera! At a surprising 3 AM, she managed to make it safely.
Judging by her odor, messiness, and the thorns embedded in her fur, it was obvious that she had been through a difficult journey around town. She looked crestfallen and terrified as if waiting for her owners to find her.
Mary Lynn exclaimed with a chuckle, “She was so scared she’d be in big trouble, but all we could do was laugh and tell her ‘We’re just glad you’re back!’ It was hilarious!”
