To celebrate reaching one million subscribers, a YouTuber from New Zealand recently made an extraordinary purchase – ordering one million pieces of dog food for his beloved Labradoodle!

Your pup may act as if they can never get enough mealtime chow, but give them a glimpse of your delicious sandwich and their pleading eyes will do the rest! No matter how much you offer from its bowl, nothing beats human food in your furry friend’s mind.

On July 21, Liam released a video clip where he expressed his gratitude to Max for helping him reach one million subscribers. As an act of appreciation, Liam decided that the perfect way to thank Max was by buying one million dog biscuits!

At first, the math seemed complicated – could Liam buy one million biscuits for Max? To find out, he contacted a pet food supplier and asked them if they sold in bulk. He nervously added: “This is going to sound strange but I want to get hold of a million pieces of dog food.”

Liam had a brilliant plan – ‘Buy one bag, count one bag, do the math.’ He decided to purchase a 12kg bag of dog food and lovingly counted every single little piece inside.

At first, he contemplated spending a great deal of time compiling the exact number of treats. However, after further inspection and some quick math calculations – counting out 140 treats that weighed 50g to be precise- his findings concluded that only 29.7 bags were necessary for this task!

The next and crucial step was to compile the immense order into a massive mountain of food, then let Max go wild. But as Liam started carefully piecing it together, he began pondering what would happen afterward; concluding that if he left it all there, his pup would take an eternity – seven years! – to get through everything.

His solution was straightforward: he could still donate the biscuits to the SPCA (who don’t accept unsealed food) by keeping most of them sealed in their bags.

When he finally reveals the gift to Max, it is no surprise that his son eagerly dives in, devouring enough food for “10 breakfasts” before Liam takes him out of the room. With a contented growl from Max, as they exit, there’s no mistaking his delight!
