We who have chosen to adopt animals from shelters understand the old saying is true and what it feels like to have a rescue animal as part of our family.
It’s not unusual for us to find ourselves in predicaments that we could have never conceived of initially. Though, as a result, we end up with a furry friend who is more than just a pet – they become part of the family.
Tucker Lindgren is all too familiar with this struggle.
He went to PAWS Chicago with his friend who wanted to pick out a pet. He had no ulterior motives, but something happened that he didn’t expect.
Tucker promised himself that he would not bring home an animal before leaving home.
He lied to his friends and family about not wanting a cat, but he had a change of heart when he met an adorable kitten.
It turns out that the kitten had other plans for him, and it is absolutely adorable.
After posting a short story on TikTok about his personal experience, he was surprised to find that many other people have had similar experiences. Even though it was a powerful story, his fans wanted an update, so he decided to post one.
