On the summer day of July 10th, 2016, a small white dog was tragically discovered in an abandoned plastic bag within Transylvania’s Romanian borders.
This poor, helpless creature was only moments away from death and had been unceremoniously discarded in the garbage as if her life held no value.
When discovered, the bag was already crawling with worms. Moreover, it became evident that the canine had endured past maltreatment as indicated by its head injury and other signs of trauma.
Her leg was broken, her body deprived of sustenance and refreshment – she had been left for the dead.
Kind-hearted individuals who stumbled upon the stray animal took her to Transylvania Animal Care, where specialists promptly began their work. After she was saved and looked after, Anora – meaning “light” in Latin – was given as a name for the pup.
As the doctors treated her, it became evidently clear that this poor pup had endured immense abuse from its previous owner. However, despite all the suffering she had gone through, they were able to successfully remove the worms and reduce her head swelling.
After her health improved, Anora was blessed to be taken in and adopted by Helen Taylor – a loving woman living in the United Kingdom.
In order to assist Anora with her medical bills, she launched a fundraiser. Unfortunately, Anora had been battling an injury in one of her legs for some time now and the healing process was not going as planned.
Through the generous donations she received, Anora was able to go through her much-needed surgery in January 2017.
Today, Anora has the honor of residing with Taylor and her endearing family in the United Kingdom. She’s embraced her new home wholeheartedly and is making great strides each day!
Fast-forward to 2022, and it’s clear that Anora has created a life of joy and contentment – an inspiring sight!
This poor pup has been through so much and deserves all the love she is receiving! Anora’s story will always be etched in my memory. She truly is a beautiful girl!
