Pit Bull’s Smile Lights Up The Room After Family Adopts Second Dog From Shelter

The Weishaars weren’t looking to get a dog, but as fate would have it, they found one anyway. It all started when Cody saw his coworker’s Snapchat of an itsy-bitsy pit bull.

His coworker was planning to get rid of the tiny puppy because he couldn’t care for both a baby and a puppy at the same time. However, my dad couldn’t resist the big, bright eyes of the pup and decided to take him in instead.

At first, Kaylee was adamant that she didn’t want a dog. But then she met Bear and everything changed–she realized that he needed to come home with them. Now, the blue-nosed pittie is an essential member of their family.

The Weishaars went to the animal shelter with Kaylee wanting a dog, but they ended up in an unforeseen circumstance. However, when Kaylee spotted Chuy by himself in the pound, she understood he was supposed to be brought home.

Immediately after hearing the news that his owner was getting a second dog, Cody drove Bear to the shelter to meet their potential new family member.

At first, they weren’t sure how Bear would react but quickly realized there was no need for concern when Bear and the sweet dogs hit it off!

Bear was overjoyed to get a new sibling, and Chuy fit perfectly into the family. The Weishaar’s weren’t sure what Chuy had been through before living with them, but whatever it was left him skittish. He would shake with fear before running away at any sudden movement or noise.

He would easily get scared and tremble before running away.

Chuy never fully relaxed in his three years with his previous family. He decompressed after moving to a new home where he realized he was being well-cared for and had another dog to look up to.
