Alma, a sweet dog with a traumatic puppyhood, never wanted to remember her past. She lived with 15 other dogs in the yard of an old, dilapidated garage, struggling to survive each day without being protected from hunger and sickness.
With barely anything to eat, Alma and her canine companions had to fight for the little food they had. Unfortunately, being small and weak, Alma never won the battle for food and was left malnourished and sick after being neglected for so long.
Luckily, the Howl Of A Dog rescue team discovered Alma’s plight and saved her just in time. She was taken to a foster home where she would finally be cared for by loving and compassionate humans.
At first, Alma was scared and hesitant to leave her crate and trust the people around her. But under the devoted care of her foster parents, Oana and Mihai, she began to heal and gradually come out of her shell. They ensured she received the necessary medical attention, including being spayed and receiving all required vaccinations.
As Alma began to feel more at home, Oana, Mihai, and Alma became strongly attached. Though Alma had initially been taken in as a foster dog, it became impossible for them to say goodbye. They loved her so much that they ultimately decided to adopt her permanently.
It has now been almost four months since Alma’s rescue. She is now a happy, healthy dog, who experiences the love and care she always deserved. We hope Alma will continue to feel loved and cared for, for the rest of her life.
