Lucy, a dog that had been abandoned on Bali’s north shore, was found in a doghouse by her owner. Although she had skin problems and was reluctant to leave her filthy home, she held out hope for her new owners. Lucy’s body was found in a doghouse alone. The rescuers from Bali Paws were shocked to see her naked, furless and cracked.

She was in fear and agony and ran away when she saw the crewmen. She was shaking uncontrollably, ready to bite them but they were able win her trust.
Lucy began to feel less anxious as she trusted the two women who saved her. As they took her to the hospital, she felt safe and relaxed in their arms. Lucy was not seriously ill. Doctors diagnosed Lucy with eye infections and scabies. However, they were easily treated with the right medications and care.

Lucy’s path to recovery began in her foster home where she met 16 other dogs. Although she was initially a little nervous, she soon became comfortable with her foster family. She enjoyed playing with the others and going for walks together, but her love for her rescuers was what really made us smile.
Lucy was a faithful follower of her saviors everywhere she went, asking for cuddles every day because she knew that they loved her even on the darkest days. Lucy’s skin became a beautiful, fluffy beauty with every passing week. Matt and Bri from Washington fell in love instantly and made plans to become her forever parents.

This is Lucy’s remarkable transformation. It’s a reminder of how even the smallest acts can make a difference in someone’s life. Lucy has been a sickly and suffering animal for many years. She is now unrecognizable. She smiles triumphantly and sprints around her forever home, showing that true compassion can make anything possible.
