If you are or have been a pet parent, then you understand how much love and joy dogs bring to our lives. They become an integral part of the family in no time at all!
As our beloved pets age, they will demand more care and attention – particularly if their mobility is reduced due to the aging process. What would you do if your pup was no longer able to walk independently?
From Massachusetts, one extraordinary man has been celebrated on social media for going the extra mile to ensure his paralyzed pup can still experience life’s simple joys.

While ambling through Dartmouth’s scenic Shubie Park, Bryant Thompson happened upon a man hauling his pup in an outfitted wagon.
However, this was no mundane wagon ride as he had ensured his canine companion stayed warm and comfortable by wrapping her up in many blankets; rather than being seated upright, she lay down.
Thompson’s heart warmed from the dedication he saw and his curiosity was piqued, so he snapped a few pictures of it from afar.

Thompson, slightly stirred by the pup’s presence, made his way to its owner and struck up a conversation.
Then, he discovered that the dog was suffering from ALS and could no longer walk independently.
Regrettably, ALS as well as other chronic myelopathy forms are frequent in aging canines, particularly bigger breeds.
Nevertheless, this man refused to let such an ailment impede his daughter from indulging in a pup’s definitive pleasure: roaming the untamed outdoors!

To solve his daughter’s issue, he took her on captivating wagon rides where she could explore the world instead of being confined to it.
Thompson lauded him in a Facebook post, noting that many people would not have done the same.
