Jennifer Medrano, residing in Spokane Washington, owns two lovable canines: Watson and Kiko. These photogenic pooches have become social media superstars with an astonishing 970K followers on Instagram! As a photographer herself, Jen captures the most precious moments shared by her pups which illustrate their strong bond.
One day, the temptation was too strong for even a loyal and loving pup to ignore. Most canines strive to make their owners happy and stay on their best behavior; yet somehow they find themselves “accidentally” gnawing on furniture, rummaging in gardens, or snatching cookies off counters – all while wearing an expression of guilt that says ‘It’s not my fault! I’m sorry Mom!’
Watson gave an exclamation of surprise when it came to the treats he and his brother were given – instead of divvying them up they were just too tasty for him to resist! We still don’t know what compelled him to be so eager, but maybe these chewies (as their owner calls them) simply had an irresistible flavor.
Knowing the importance of setting a good example for her son, Medrano refused to let Watson go without apologizing. She turned on the camera and dealt with the matter head-on.
Watson found himself in a sticky situation as he sat with the other dogs in the kitchen when Medrano questioned him before scolding him: “Apologies to your older brother for stealing his treat.”
“Hey Watson, do you comprehend what I’m saying to you?” There’s no mistaking the few grunts that follow from him as a resounding “Yes, Mom!” Alright then, it’s time to concentrate on our task at hand…
These pups are passionate about their chewies! During Medrano’s explanation of the situation to Watson, she speaks serenely: “So I gave you a chewy and Kiko one as well. You ate Kiko’s treats.” The funny part is that both canines appear to be drooling at her mention of “chewie talk”. Could anyone fault them for being enticed?
It was time for Watson to apologize. After all, he had been caught red-handed stealing a treat from his best friend – and no creature should be expected to accept that kind of behavior! Mom then inquired, “So what do we say when we take something that isn’t ours?” Medrano didn’t need to explain it further; Watson already knew what the correct response would be.
Watson approaches his canine companion, embracing him with the most loving hug. The moment is indescribably adorable as he wraps his arms around Kiko and rests his head on top of him. It’s impossible to not be moved into sheer joy when looking at these two tender faces!
Watson’s heartwarming apology allows him to escape scot-free, and Mom praises them for being two exemplary boys. Who knows? Perhaps it even earned them a tasty treat! It was so endearing that no one could resist its charm.
