An Inspiring Man Crafts a Dog Train to Give His Adopted Pups an Opportunity to Enjoy Mini-Adventures

If you’re in the Fort Worth area of Texas, you may see a peculiar train chugging down one of its roads. But upon further inspection, it’s no ordinary locomotive—it’s an entire car full of canine passengers!

Eugene Bostick’s name is associated with a captivating sight: his remarkable “dog train” – eight barrels towed behind an eighty-year-old man and his tractor! As it has been for years, locals of the area can observe this charming display.

Surprisingly, the retiree and his brother created this train specifically for all of their pup rescues – after individuals left them near their land.

With only his tractor and a small trailer, Bostick began transporting four or five canines at a time — but soon found that it wasn’t enough to meet the demand. It was then he had an epiphany: create the dog train! As Bostick told NBCDFW, “That’s when I came up with that!” Now more pups than ever are getting their chance to ride on the Doggy Express.

Tiffany Johnson, who regularly spots him passing her office window, recently mustered up the courage to ask if she could take a picture. After getting his permission, Tiffany shared it on Facebook along with this caption: “This is the coolest guy! He rescues stray dogs and takes them for a train ride by our building every morning – I just had to capture this moment!” It’s clear that Tiffany was so inspired by what she saw that she felt obligated to share it with others.

In response to a concerned individual, Tiffany reassured them that the dogs never attempt to escape from Bostick’s truck. What’s more, they seem to be aware of their mission and bark with enthusiasm during their ride! When asked about how he finds his homeless canine companions, she disclosed that people actually bring him strays when they can no longer take care of them – thus sparing these sweet animals an otherwise dreary fate in the pound!

Bostick has been bringing his pack on train rides for a while now, and it looks like people are taking notice! Apparently he’s taken to wandering out to Sycamore Golf Course behind his home, where golfers observe him in admiration.

This generous gentleman is an example of kindness that should be shared. The pups’ joyous expressions show just how thankful they are! Spread the word and share this heartwarming story with your loved ones!
