The moment Animal Aid Unlimited was informed of an abandoned pup who had been used for breeding, they rushed to his aid. This dog was unable to move and it became evident that he faced a difficult future alone on the streets without assistance.
Fortunately, dedicated rescuers and volunteers stepped in immediately to provide him with the necessary help and care so he could have a chance at recovering from this trauma.
To kick off the process, hydrotherapy would be essential. It was blatantly apparent that this sweet giant had never been on a walk or played with in his life thus far, and so it became evident that he’d need to become familiarized with exercise at an unhurried pace.
The pup followed along obediently and embraced it quickly; they couldn’t decide what he enjoyed more: the water itself, or all of the affection!
After just 6 weeks, Pumba could now stand and even move a little alone! Plus he was ecstatic to have the opportunity to socialize with other canines.
