Why her name is Mel
The dog is 7 months old and as anticipated is named Mel. The choice of the name comes from an old domestic dog Soraya owned who died two years ago. She had the same name.
Soraya’s words “I am too happy that she has come into my life,” says the woman who named her Mel, after the family’s former pet dog who died about two years ago, “She has her own eyes.
