Blind Dog Discarded by Unknown Person Finally Uncovers What She’s Always Craved

When Irene and Matt caught sight of two dogs outside their window, they were utterly astonished!

This couple operates the I’m Dingo Rescue in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Recently, two puppies were carelessly discarded by a fence with no trace of their owners or any other information.

Of course, Irene couldn’t just leave the dogs out there, so she ventured outside and attempted to bring them in. Unfortunately, one of them dashed away while Lilly stayed rooted on the ground, frightened.

After bringing Lilly into our home, it was evident that she wasn’t like the usual canine. Sadly, her vision had been impaired and in response to this fear-inducing situation, she simply cowered in a corner of the house afraid of all her surroundings.

For more than two weeks, Irene and Matt devoted a significant amount of time to Lilly while they were also caring for their five other canines plus additional rescues. Gradually, she began to slowly emerge from her protective shell.

After an inexplicable 17 days, the couple received a heartwarming surprise: their beloved Lilly’s sibling had come back!

When Mira saw her sister, Lilly, she was elated. The two embraced and it felt as if a switch had been flipped – Lilly experienced a new-found sense of playfulness! Even though she lacked eyesight, the familiar scents and sounds of her sibling gave way to all that she sought in life: connection with family.

As Lilly and Mira joyously commemorated their first birthday at the I’m Dingo Rescue, Irene, and Matt has high expectations that they will be celebrating their second one in a happy home with an official forever family.

The two companions have been in the rescue for months now, waiting to find a family that can provide them with unconditional love and understanding. To make it easier for potential families, the fees of adoption and transportation are waived off – all they ask is that Lilly and her partner stay together as she has a vision impairment.
