Grooming can be either exhilarating or a living nightmare, depending on the pet. While some animals take it in stride and allow themselves to be cleaned up, others will try to find any way possible of avoiding these sessions entirely.
As this video demonstrates, this Pit Bull has a deep-seated fear of nail clippers. To the poor pup, it’s just one big death machine and he’ll do anything to stay away from it.
So when Mom informs him that his nails need trimming – instead of obeying her command – the distressed dog instinctively attempts to ignore her presence.
But Mom simply picks up his paw and starts clipping, that’s when we witness the Pit Bull’s whole performance.
He begins to recline in slow-motion until he finally lands flat on the ground with all fours propped straight up!
Despite the heartrending puppy-dog eyes that he gives the person filming, Mom remains unmoved and continues with her nail clipping.
Although this pup’s performance didn’t spare him from his grooming torture session, it was undeniably worthy of an Oscar! How adorable is that!?
