The Good Samaritan quickly called for help and soon enough, the Arizona Humane Society arrived to save him!

Poor Buddy, a two-year-old pup, found himself in danger when his curiosity got the best of him. After noticing another dog on the other side of a cement wall, he attempted to squeeze through – however what seemed like an easy escape quickly turned into an entrapment that ended with his head stuck and no way out.

To make matters worse, instead of helping Buddy find freedom from this unfortunate situation, the other dog kept biting at the poor helpless pup’s head!

When a passerby discovered Buddy, they acted responsibly by requesting assistance. Soon after, rescuers from the Arizona Humane Society appeared and surveyed the state of affairs.

The Arizona Humane Society reported a dire incident involving a pup unable to escape from the perilous position he found himself in–a cinderblock wall had become his trap, and it threatened to be fatal. His cries for help were heard before time ran out, though!

With precision, the rescuers chipped away steadily at the cement that encased Buddy’s neck. Bit by bit they demolished it until enough room was created for him to wriggle out. It took them a little less than half an hour to set this pup free of his shackles and restore his freedom!

When Buddy was released from his wall prison, he came back to life with exuberance. His tail swung ecstatically as he joyfully circled those who had freed him. Afterward, the rescuers brought him over to the humane society’s trauma hospital for a checkup – they found some minor swelling and bruises near his head and neck area but overall determined that buddy was in good condition!

Francisco Cabella of the humane society exclaimed in awe, “This dog is one of the most amicable I’ve ever encountered. It’s hard to believe that he had just gone through a difficult situation.”

Rescuers initially presumed Buddy to be a stray, yet thanks to social media posts from his human companion, they soon recognized he was lost. Before long afterward, the elated pair were joyfully reunited. To ensure future safety for Buddy and avert any such situations in the days ahead, The humane society gave him microchip implantation as an extra precautionary measure.

The Arizona Humane Society encourages anyone who encounters a dog in distress to contact the experts. Trying to approach an animal that is already scared can be dangerous and should always be left up to trained personnel. For the safety of all involved, never attempt to interact with an animal when they seem distressed or trapped; it’s best for everyone if professionals take care of it.
